Steve Francis Camp

Mike and the Role-tation team worked with NBA Legend Steve Francis to project manage and facilitate a free youth camp, for children aged 6-13. Hosted in Houston Texas, the camp spanned over five days and gave the kids an opportunity to enjoy the game of basketball, learn fundamental skills, make new friends and keep active.

The camp covered all of the core fundamentals including dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense, spatial awareness and movement off of the ball. In addition, the team of coaching staff helped nurture winning characteristics; values such as respect and self-belief and the importance of teamwork and work-ethic.

Role-tation were involved from concept phase right through to implementation, and were responsible for everything from securing of sponsorships, branding and website development, liaising with media and public relations, scheduling of the various training sessions, implementation of the camp and more.
